Molto bello. Per chi fosse interessato a barche a vela e a remi (in Francia, dove sono tradizionalmente diffuse si chiamamo volier avirons) accessibili, segnalo sul mio sito (Vela Aurica e piccole barche classiche) le Norse Boats e il Tee Spirit.

La prima cosa che ho scoperto sul Piviere è che è possibile remare con il timone, così se il potente 2 cavalli e mezzo mi dovesse abbandonare posso comunque con molta calma rientrare! Bellissimo articolo, grazie Alfredo.

Su vela aurica,la pagina web di Fabio, alla voce "belle e possibili", sono menzionate una serie di barche veramente belle, ideali per fare delle uscite giornaliere costa a costa, in mare come sulle lagune passando per laghi e fiumi. Cabotaggio, insomma.

Remare con il timone "salva" dalle situazioni più incredibili: rimasto in panne in mezzo al fiume Arno e tornato indietro a vela, una volta rollato il fiocco davanti all'ormeggio l'unico modo per entrare è remare "stimonando" .... contro la corrente dell'Arno.
